To guard against fraud, like most online retailers, we verify credit cards when they are entered in to make a purchase or when saving a card to your account. Some MasterCard, Discover and American Express cardholders may see a temporary authorization for $1.00 after their card is verified. The authorization will fall off the cardholder’s account within a few days, and will never settle. While Visa allows for a $0.00 verification to be run, the other card types do not yet support this.
